Exposure

I’ve been brainstorming for some time and have resurfaced from my creative block. I’ve begun working on a new photo project “Exposure” which employs multiple exposures of macro shots in nature and what I call “dismembered portraits.” There’s a lot behind the vision, but it is primarily an expression of our mortality and organic nature. I ran a test roll of self portraits last weekend, and these are just a couple examples.
This is all very exciting for me, as I have also started searching for galleries to host my series in early fall ‘16 and already brought on 3 models. I am now working on my second roll of self portraits and am heading to New Orleans this weekend to start the third model roll. All rolls will be shot in unique landscapes--I look forward to matching personalities with the varying scenery.
