06.19.14 Skate or Die

I stumbled across this beautiful wasteland recently searching for abandoned buildings in west Atlanta. Instead of a building, I found the evolution of a demolition. The shell of an old industrial building was taken over by skate crews and graffiti artists. There were many [well-constructed] ramps and rails and an abundance of blunt wrappers, beer bottles, and KOBRA paint cans.

The graffiti was amazing and there was an attitude to the air.

"Fuck society, I'm mad about it!"

And, this is against my rules...but here are some color photos I took with my Nikon D70. They give the place more justice; there was so much color.
